Cadence’s Dinner Club returns for a special Juneteenth edition: An intimate 6-course dinner honoring the legacy, resilience, and excellence of Black Americans through food.
While rooted in a painful history, Juneteenth is also a joyful celebration of freedom, culture, and community. As Chef Haley Duren writes, “It’s a day of gathering with loved ones, to raise the Emancipation Day flag and eat delicious foods.”
This menu highlights the rich Black history of the South and the deep culinary tradition of soul food—born from African roots and shaped by generations of creativity and perseverance. Expect bold, seasonal dishes that honor the holiday’s origin, elevated with Haley’s signature approach.
This dinner is part of an ongoing series exploring heritage through cuisine—an evolving tradition at Cadence. Join us on June 19th and help build it with us!
